The inaugural Fashion Arts Fund Annual Seminar took place Thursday, March 21 from 9–11:30 am at Union Station, 30 Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO 64108. It featured the following elements:
9:00 am - Doors opened for networking for fashion enthusiasts of all ages and experience, and fashion college booths for high school students seeking connections to fashion degree options.
9:45 am - The program began featuring esteemed fashion industry executive, CaSandra Diggs, and keynote speaker, Audra Noyes Herndon, Founder, CEO, and Creative Director of AUDRA. Read her entire bio here.
10:50 - 11:30 am - Networking and fashion college booth visits continued.
1:00 - 2:45 pm - Jurors Elliot Carlyle, Joshua J. Christensen, CaSandra Diggs, Josue Montes, and Audra Noyes Herndon conducted private, invitational portfolio and brand reviews for these five selected designers:
